I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world.
من گه‌شتمه لوتکه‌ی سه‌رکه‌وتن له جیهانی پیشه و کار و بازرگانی.
In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.
له چاوی که‌سانی تره‌وه ژیانی من پێناسە یان کورتکراوه‌ی سه‌رکه‌وتنه.
However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.
هه‌رچه‌نده جگه له کار، شادی و خۆشیه‌کانی ژیانم زۆر که‌مه. له کۆتاییا حه‌قیقه‌ت ئه‌وه‌یه که ته‌نها له‌گه‌ڵ سه‌روه‌ت و سامان ڕاهاتوم.
At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.
ئا له‌م کاته‌یا له‌سه‌ر جێگای نه‌خۆشی پاڵکه‌وتوم و ته‌واوی ژیانم به بیرده‌هێنمه‌وه، ئه‌وه ده‌زانم که هه‌موو ئه‌و سه‌روه‌ت و سامان و ناسراویه‌ی که زۆر شانازیم پیوه ئه‌کرد زه‌ردهه‌ڵگه‌ڕاوه و بوه به حه‌قیقه‌تێکی بێ مانا له‌به‌رده‌م مردنی چاوه‌ڕوانکراومدا.
In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…
له تاریکیا ته‌ماشای گڵۆپی سه‌وزی مه‌کینه و ئامێری یارمه‌تیده‌ری بەردەوامی ژیانم ده‌کرد و گوێم له ده‌نگی گیزه‌ی ئامێره‌که‌یه. ئه‌توانم هه‌ست به هه‌ناسه‌ی فریشته‌ی مه‌رگ بکه‌م زیاتر نزیک ئه‌بێته‌وه.
Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…
ئێستا ئه‌زانم کاتێک سه‌روه‌ت و سامانێکی زۆرمان کۆکرده‌وه به‌شمان بکات بۆ ته‌واوی ژیانمان پێویسته دوای ئامانج و کاری تر بکه‌وین که په‌یوه‌ندی به سه‌روه‌ت و سامانه‌وه نه‌بێت.
Should be something that is more important:

Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days …
له‌وانه‌یه په‌یوه‌ندی و خۆشه‌ویستی، یان هونه‌ر یان خه‌ونێکی سه‌رده‌می گه‌نجی.
Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.
نه‌وه‌ستان لە به‌ده‌ستهێنانی سه‌روه‌ت و سامان که‌سه‌کان سه‌رلێشێواو ده‌کات وه‌کو من.
God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.
خوا ئه‌و هه‌سته‌ی پێبه‌خشیوین که هه‌ست به خۆشه‌ویستی که‌سه‌کان بکه‌ین له دڵیاندا نه‌ک ئه‌و خه‌یاڵ و سه‌رابه‌ی سه‌روه‌ت و سامان ده‌یهێنێت.
The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me.
ئه‌و سه‌روه‌ت و سامانه‌ی له ژیانما بردمه‌وه ناتوانم له‌گه‌ڵ خۆما بیهێنم.
What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.
ئه‌وه‌ی ئه‌توانم بیهێنم ئه‌و یاده‌وه‌ریانه‌یه که خۆشه‌ویستی تێدایه.
That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.

Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands.
خۆشه‌ویستی هه‌زاران مایڵ ئه‌بڕێت، ژیان سنوری نیه، بڕۆ بۆ ئه‌و جێگایه‌ی ده‌ته‌وێت، بگه‌ره ئه‌و لوتکه‌یه‌ی ده‌ته‌وێت. ئه‌وانه هه‌موی له دڵتایه و له‌ده‌ستایه.
What is the most expensive bed in the world? – “Sick bed” …
گرانترین قه‌ره‌وێڵه له جیهاندا چی یه؟ قه‌ره‌وێڵی نه‌خۆشی
You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.
تۆ ئه‌توانیت که‌سێک به‌کرێ بگری شۆفێری سه‌یاره‌که‌ت بۆ بکات، پاره‌ت بۆ په‌یدا بکات به‌ڵام ناتوانیت که‌سێک په‌یدا بکه‌یت له جیاتی تۆ نه‌خۆش بێت.
Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – “Life”.
شته مادیه ونبوه‌کان ده‌دۆزرێنه‌وه، به‌ڵام شتێک هه‌یه که هه‌رگیز نادۆزرێته‌وه که ونبوو ئه‌ویش “ژیان”ــه.
