A Delegation from the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce Visits the Sulaymaniyah Environment Directorate
Today, May 19, 2026, a delegation from the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by Nawzad Ghafur Rabati, President of the Chamber, along with Burhan Ali, Jawhar Star, Obaid Sulaiman, Bahman Othman, and Kaziw Kawa, members of the Chamber’s Administrative Board, visited Shai Awat, the Director of the Environment Department of Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
This visit was carried out within the framework of strengthening relations and cooperation between the two sides, with the aim of increasing coordination and resolving problems and difficulties related to the environmental sector in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of expediting the completion of industrial transactions and projects, in a way that serves development and environmental protection, and leads to the creation of a more suitable environment for investment and economic growth.
