To strengthen trade and economic relations at the level of Iraq, the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry received (Firas Al-Hamdani), the President of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce.
On May 25, 2026, Nawzad Ghafur Rabati, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Muhammad Haji Rasul Safray, Shine Ikhtiyar, Vice Presidents, and Jawhar Star, Burhan Ali, Obaid Sulaiman, Kaziw Kawa, and Bahman Othman, members of the Chamber’s Administrative Board, received (Firas Al-Hamdani), the President of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce.
Nawzad Ghafur Rabati, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his happiness with this visit, noting that Sulaymaniyah is one of the most important centers of trade, industry, and agriculture, and plays a prominent role in providing market needs for all of Iraq.
He also indicated that the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to build a stronger relationship with all Iraqi provinces, to support economic growth and expand trade cooperation.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on supporting local products and encouraging the development of industrial projects, in a way that ensures meeting the needs of the local market and takes a step towards supporting the national economy.
