President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Participates in a Meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region
On April 28, 2026, Nawzad Ghafour Rabati, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participated in a meeting held by Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, with a number of investors and merchants from the Region.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister provided a briefing on the internal changes and developments in the Kurdistan Region, as well as the economic situation in Iraq and the region.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the economic security system and the development of the private sector, and appreciated the influential role of this sector in advancing the economy and revitalizing the Region.
In his remarks, Nawzad Ghafour Rabati presented several important proposals for developing the trade and industry sectors, particularly in strengthening trade exchange and supporting local factory products, with the aim of expanding markets to central and southern Iraq. It was decided at the meeting to take practical action on these proposals.
Finally, several directives and proposals were put forward to address obstacles and problems related to economic and commercial activity, with the goal of strengthening economic engagement in the Region.
