On March 1, 2026, Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Chamber, along with members of the Administrative Board Burhan Ali, Jawhar Star, Aram Babaan, Obaid Sulaiman, and Bahman Othman, received Muhammad Salih Celik, President of the Turkish-Iraqi Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Businessmen, and Fadil Najib, the Supervisor for Iraq.
The main purpose of the visit was to introduce a number of Turkish merchants and investors, to present their work and projects, and to find joint work opportunities with the merchants and companies of Sulaymaniyah Governorate, especially in the fields of health, industry, and services.
Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his happiness at the delegation’s visit in his remarks and indicated that Sulaymaniyah city holds important investment opportunities in various fields, and the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce is ready to provide any kind of assistance and facilities to companies and investors who come to Sulaymaniyah city to invest.
