The President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce welcomed a representative of the international organization ILO.
On October 16, 2025, Nawzad Ghafour, the President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shene Ikhtiyar, the Vice President of the Chamber, and a number of members of the Chamber’s Executive Board welcomed representatives of the international organization ILO.
During the meeting, the labor market and the sectors needed for it were discussed, including which of these sectors require the largest workforce.
The meeting also focused on the agriculture and clean energy sectors to work in, with reference to those plastic greenhouses that operate in a traditional manner. Through awareness campaigns, their mode of operation can be changed, and their working mechanism can be transformed from that traditional method to a modern, contemporary one.
Another part of the meeting discussed the importance of using solar energy and those systems that operate on solar power, benefiting from solar systems for operation.
