The President of Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce Meets with the General Director of Agriculture in Raparin Border Area
Date: 21/12/2025 Nawzad Ghafour, President of Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Aram Babaan, a member of the Chamber’s Administrative Council, met in the Raparin region with Khalid Ahmed, the General Director of Agriculture, and a number of directors of agricultural offices.
During the meeting, the agricultural sector and the importance of the region were discussed for greater coordination in the agricultural sector to attract investments to the Raparin region.
Nawzad Ghafour, President of Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated during the meeting: “Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry continuously works to enhance agricultural capabilities and encourage foreign and domestic investors to work in the agricultural sector in the Raparin region.”
He added: “The Raparin region is of great importance to us. We will intensify our efforts further so that the agricultural sector can progress according to the plan that the directors of the Raparin border area have to facilitate work for capitalists and investors.”
