The Largest Exhibition of Iraqi Products Opened in Sulaymaniyah
On December 3, 2025, Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Aram Babaan, a member of the Chamber’s Administrative Board, attended the opening of the third cycle of the exhibition of Iraqi domestic products.
At the opening ceremony of the third cycle of the (Made in Iraq) exhibition, Dr. Haval Abubakr, the Governor of Sulaymaniyah; Shaho Osman, the Deputy Governor of Sulaymaniyah; (Adel Aqab) President of the Iraqi Industrialists Union; Ali Osman, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of the Kurdistan Region; and a number of directors of government departments in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, merchants, and industrialists were present.
Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated regarding the holding of the third cycle of the (Made in Iraq) exhibition: “The third cycle of the (Made in Iraq) exhibition began its activities inside the Sulaymaniyah International Exhibition Hall in the Tasluja area, with the participation of approximately 100 local factories, among which 40 are large factories and 40 are medium-sized factories, in addition to the participation of more than 20 young people with ideas and innovations.”
He added: “The exhibition is a golden opportunity for business owners and factories to further expand the scope of introducing their work and brands and to better promote their goods. And (Made in Iraq) is a very good opportunity for those who wish to purchase goods and necessities from one place, or for those parties and merchants who wish to become agents for local factory goods.”
He also indicated: “This exhibition is an important economic event taking place in Sulaymaniyah city, with a significant number of large and strategic factories and companies from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq participating, which play a major role and have a significant impact in providing the needs of citizens and the economic infrastructure.”
The President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized that this exhibition is an indication that the future of industry in Sulaymaniyah Governorate and the Kurdistan Region is promising, as this industry is continuously expanding day after day.
This exhibition will lead to the provision of many job opportunities and the signing of several contracts among the participating companies in the exhibition.
The (Made in Iraq) exhibition will continue for four consecutive days from December 3, 2025, to December 6, 2025, and will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
