The Chamber President Received the President of the Poultry Farms Association
On February 19, 2026, Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Burhan Ali, a member of the Chamber’s Administrative Board, received Nazim Abdullah, President of the Poultry Farms Association in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, along with the Vice President and members of the association.
The purpose of the Poultry Farms Association’s visit was to strengthen their relations with the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as there has always been coordination and follow-up to advance the poultry sector and resolve their issues.
Nawzad Ghafur, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reaffirmed his support for the development of the poultry sector, which has been able to meet market demand, and which is considered an important asset for food security in the Kurdistan Region.
The President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry called on the Poultry Farms Association in Sulaymaniyah Governorate to assist citizens during the holy month of Ramadan by providing healthy chicken at affordable prices.
