On May 12, 2025, Nawzad Ghafour, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Sabir Amin, a member of the Chamber’s Administrative Council, visited the representation office of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Madrid, Spain. They were welcomed by Darawan Haji Hameed, the KRG’s representative in Spain.
During the visit, Nawzad Ghafour thanked the KRG’s representation in Spain for its efforts in coordinating commercial and industrial relations, which have strengthened visits and ties between the two sides. Ghafour stated: “As the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we highly value these relations and will continue to support trade delegation visits between the two countries.”
