A Delegation from Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce Visits the KRG Ministry of Trade and Industry
On July 4, 2025, Aram Baban, Jawahar Star, and Obeid Ahmed, members of the Administrative Council of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Hassan Rahim, the director of the Sulaymaniyah International Fair, visited the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Erbil. They met with Kamal Muslim, the Minister of Trade and Industry, and Ali Osman, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the opening of the third edition of the “Made in Iraq” exhibition, which is planned to be held in Sulaymaniyah with the cooperation of both the KRG Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Iraqi Federal Ministry of Industry and Minerals, in partnership with the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the organizing company, Atlas Al-Asil.
Kamal Muslim, the Minister of Trade and Industry, described the exhibition as an important step in promoting and marketing domestic products in Iraqi and international markets.
For his part, Ali Osman, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, expressed hope that all parties would work together to ensure the success of the exhibition and set an appropriate date for its organization so that both the federal and regional ministries could actively participate, and companies could engage effectively in the event.
