{"id":53391,"date":"2026-07-06T09:20:57","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T06:20:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sulcci.com\/?p=53391"},"modified":"2026-07-06T09:20:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T06:20:57","slug":"the-chamber-president-participated-in-the-economic-dimensions-of-peace-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sulcci.com\/en\/the-chamber-president-participated-in-the-economic-dimensions-of-peace-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chamber President Participated in the &#8220;Economic Dimensions of Peace&#8221; Meeting."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">On June 27, 2026, Nawzad Ghafur Rabati, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region, participated in the &#8220;Economic Dimensions of Sustainable Peace&#8221; meeting, which was jointly organized by the Democracy Progress Institute (DPI), the Cizre Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Diyarbakir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in North Kurdistan.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">The delegation of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region was headed by Gaylan Haji Saeed, President of the Federation of Chambers, and included Nawzad Ghafur Rabati and Sheikh Tahir, Vice Presidents of the Federation of Chambers, along with Shukri Jamil and Havraz Bahjat, members of the Administrative Board of the Federation of Chambers, and Kamaran Muhammad, a member of the Administrative Board of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">During the meeting, discussions were held on the role of economic development and the private sector in supporting peace, achieving sustainable growth, as well as new investment opportunities and creating job opportunities.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">At the meeting, Nawzad Ghafur Rabati delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the role of chambers of commerce in strengthening the foundations of peace and creating a stable and strong economic environment.
