27\/10\/2025 – Nawzad Ghafour Rabati, President of the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with a number of the Chamber’s administrative council members, welcomed a delegation from the Turkish Union of Businesspeople and Industrialists, led by Nevaf K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7, Secretary-General of the International Businessmen and Industrialists Association (US\u0130AD) in Northern Kurdistan and Turkey.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

During the meeting, the President of the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, “Following the decision to lift the ban on Sulaimani International Airport, this is the first trade and industry delegation from the Republic of Turkey to visit Sulaimani city, and we hope we can advance relations between both sides.”<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He added, “Sulaimani city continues to grow industrially, as opportunities and facilities for establishing factories have been provided, and full support is given to investors to establish industries that are important in the province.”<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The President of the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry also noted that “Sulaimani Province remains a leader in agricultural development, animal husbandry, tourism, education, and industry, and efforts are being made to further promote local production. As the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we fully support local products and support those foreign investors who wish to invest in Sulaimani Province.”<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nevaf K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7, the head of the Turkish delegation, expressed his happiness at the warm welcome from the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce. K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 wished that “both sides can advance their trade and industrial relations and create cooperation and facilitation for businesspeople and investors,” aiming to encourage deeper collaboration.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
