on 2\/6\/2025, Nawzad Ghafour, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Obeid Ahmed, a member of the Chamber\u2019s Administrative Council, welcomed Dara Khailani, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) leadership and the official in charge of the Union\u2019s foreign relations.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the commercial and industrial relations of Sulaymaniyah Province with countries around the world.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nawzad Ghafour, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that the Chamber maintains strong relations with foreign representatives in the region, as well as with international chambers of commerce, and participates annually in global conferences and exhibitions.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He further explained that the city of Sulaymaniyah is home to several major traders and companies holding agency agreements with global firms in the food, industrial, agricultural, and electrical sectors, distributing their products across all of Iraq.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For his part, Dara Khailani, a member of the PUK leadership and the Union\u2019s foreign relations official, expressed his happiness and hoped to work on all fronts to strengthen relations and advance investment, industry, and trade in Sulaymaniyah Province.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
