On May 16, 2025, Nawzad Ghafour, President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Sabir Amin, a member of the Chamber\u2019s Administrative Council, and several companies from Sulaymaniyah Province\u2014accompanied by Darawan Haji Hameed, the Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Spain\u2014met with the Director General of the EXPOLIVA exhibition in Ja\u00e9n during the final day of the event, which focuses on olive products and agricultural machinery.<\/span><\/div>\n

During the meeting, Nawzad Ghafour emphasized strengthening bilateral relations to ensure continued participation in future exhibitions. He highlighted the Kurdistan Region\u2019s fertile land for agricultural production, particularly in olive cultivation, noting that Spanish companies could invest in this sector for olive farming and the production of diverse olive-based products.<\/span><\/div>\n

The President of the Chamber, along with participating companies from Sulaymaniyah, toured the exhibition on its final day to gather information on olive products and the latest agricultural technologies showcased.<\/span><\/div>\n
